Yes, you can; however, using it to record images onboard a commercial aircraft is an entirely different story. It's a lesson I learned the hard way during my recent flight to Hawaii. Since the birth of my daughter I have diligently brought my camcorder on all of our family's vacations.

I am fairly new to the video camera market. Which is not to say that I am a novice when it comes to shooting video. I spent more than a decade as a television news reporter and was trained to shoot my own stories during my early years on the job.

Spring is finally here in West Tennessee. Flowers are blooming; my allergies are in high gear to prove it. The warmer weather always brings my family outside. One our favorite things to do in the spring is go to the ball field to watch our friend's son play baseball.

I spent most of my weekend scanning old photographs for another slide show DVD project. Several years ago my mother in law gave me a large disorganized box of family photos.
