I should really start taking notes on how I find things, since I just found a great site but forgot how. Anyway, the site is Picture.com, and it was created by the International Library of Photography as a place for amateur photographers to share their work and be recognized.

I solved the two photo puzzles for the puzzle contest that they have each day, and I am hoping that I won the $50 prize. We'll see. In the meantime, check out the site and see what you think. There is a photo contest, too, with a $10,000 prize.

Sign up for the InFocus magazine and get some critiques of your work at the photographers' workshop. If you are in need of photos for a blog, or other use, search the photos at ephotograph.com for what you are looking for. There are many categories to choose from including animals, people, sports, action, and other.

Take a look at their gallery, and buy products from books on photography to products featuring your photography or those selected from the site. You can register your photos online and receive licensing fees. And be sure to see the picture of the hour, which is featured prominently on the home page.

You can send a free e-card from a large selection of photos, or search for an ILP photographer from the same page. After you solve the dialy puzzle, check back the next day to see if you are a winner. There is a lot to do and see here, so take your time.

Picture.com is (according to the site) featuring some 1.6 million photographers. Why not add your name and photos to the site. The only requirement is that you are an amateur photographer. Happy shooting!
